I AM KRAUZER NYC
Hey there,
I’m KRAUZER, and I wanted to take a moment to share a bit of my journey with you. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by deep forests and mountains, I found my first love in music through the piano. Those quiet moments at the keys shaped my early understanding of music, and later on, I expanded into choir, playing violin in the orchestra, and even musical theater. One of the defining moments in my early musical journey was performing at Carnegie Hall—a milestone that solidified my dream of making music my life’s work.
When I moved to New York City, it felt like stepping into a completely different world. The contrast between the serene landscapes of my childhood and the intense energy of this city has had a huge impact on my music. I love blending electronic and acoustic elements to create a sound that’s gritty yet emotive, something that captures both the rawness of nature and the pulse of the city. My music has always been about finding that balance—where technology meets human emotion.
I was classically trained as a pianist and vocalist and later honed my skills at Berklee School of Music and 343 Labs, where I learned to write, produce, and perform all my tracks myself. Whether it’s the synth-heavy, beat-driven songs that get you moving or the stripped-down acoustic arrangements where it’s just me, my voice, and the piano, I strive for versatility in my performances. I think that versatility is what allows me to connect with so many different people, whether I’m performing on a high-energy stage or in a more intimate setting.
I’m also passionate about the visual side of my work. Through my business, krauzer haus, I handle all my visuals—from photography to video production—because I believe that every detail matters when it comes to creating an experience. For me, it’s all about building immersive worlds where you can step in and explore the depths of humanity and life right alongside me.
My first single, “time to leave”, released on march 27th, 2025. it’s the beginning of my self produced journey as a music artist.
Recently, I’ve been diving into orchestral and cinematic music, and I’m excited to share that I’ve collaborated with singer/songwriter Cherish Denae and author M.B. Thurman on the Secrets & Magic EP, which is part of the Summoned series.
I’m so grateful to have you on this journey with me. My music is really just a way to share pieces of my world with you, and I hope it resonates with something in your own life. There’s so much more to come, and I’m thrilled to have you here as it all unfolds.
